Atlas Earth is an app designed for Android and iPhone where you can buy virtual plots of land around the world and generate passive income as a digital landowner.

How does digital land work?

Digital land is basically the concept of digitizing a certain amount of real-world space and allows us to buy, rent, sell or lease this digital space to others online. Atlas Earth divides the world into grids and generates 30ftx30ft parcels that can be bought for $4.99 each. As soon as you take ownership of one you’ll automatically generate income forever, depending on the rarity of the parcel you own. Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary parcels all have different income amounts and the tier is selected on luck.

How much can I make with Earth Atlas? Is it worth it?

At the time of writing, Earth Atlas is not considered an investment because the returns are so miniscule. Everything about this game is speculative because the thought is that one day when there are enough players the value of your parcels will go up, especially if you own digital land that is in downtown or popular areas around the world. It’s also worth mentioning that the game doesn’t give you the ability to sell your parcels to other players yet.

Right now there are over 500k downloads on the Google Play store and 1 parcel is bought every 6 seconds, according to Earth Atlas. Things should start to get interesting if the game stays popular and updates give players more flexibility with what they can do within the digital world.

Nonetheless, Earth Atlas is very fun to experiment with. I personally spent a little over $100 to buy plots of land here in Florida. Occasionally I check back in to temporarily boost my “rental income” by watching a few ads. So far I’ve generated just over $0.03 cents this week. It’s also worth mentioning that this game does payout real money to your PayPal as soon as you generate $5.

Is Earth Atlas part of the MetaVerse?

The MetaVerse operates on the blockchain and a true system would be decentralized. Earth Atlas, by definition, is not part of the MetaVerse since it is centrally owned and isn’t operating on blockchain technology.

Ready to Play? Here’s a bonus.

Just head over to the Apple Store or Google Play and search for Earth Atlas.

By using a referral code you can receive 200 Atlas Bucks that will help you buy up to 2 parcels. Use code OBBGI9 to take quick advantage of the free perk.
